What is an AI companion?
An AI companion is an AI character you can interact with through conversation, roleplay, voice, images and calls. It can have its own personality, appearance and voice, and can remember context between interactions.
What’s the difference between an AI character and an AI companion?
An AI character is the identity you create or discover, including its personality, appearance, voice and world. When you chat, roleplay, create media or make calls with that character, it becomes your AI companion in the experience.
Can I create my own AI character?
Yes. Customize a character’s personality, appearance, voice, and backstory, then interact through chat and calls.
Is ImagiPortal just an AI chatbot?
No. Chat is one part of ImagiPortal. AI companions can remember context, roleplay, speak, appear in generated images and videos, send voice messages, and join live calls.
Can I roleplay with AI characters?
