Creators

ImagiPortal creators build AI characters for other people to discover and enjoy. A creator can begin with a private character, prepare it for a public audience, submit it for review, and publish it in the Arena.

Publishing is optional. You can keep a character private if you are creating it only for yourself.

The creator journey

1. Create: Build a private AI character with its own identity, appearance, world, and voice.
2. Test: Chat, roleplay, make calls, and improve the character before other users see it.
3. Publish: Submit the character for review. An approved character becomes public in the Arena.
4. Grow: Help users discover the character and follow its engagement in the Author Dashboard.
5. Earn: Eligible paid interactions with a public character can generate PORTI royalties.
6. Manage ownership: A public character may be listed for sale, or eligible original character IP may be registered on the DATA Network.

These steps are choices, not requirements. A public character does not need to be listed for sale or registered as IP.
