How to Become a Creator
Prepare, test, and submit your first AI character for publication in the ImagiPortal Arena.

You become part of the creator workflow by preparing an AI character and submitting it for publication. Start privately so you can test and improve the character before anyone else sees it.
1. Create a private character
Create the character and complete its core identity, including:
- Name, age, and gender
- Species, occupation, and tags
- Personality, background, and speech style
- Appearance and clothing descriptions
- Avatar and world
- An active saved voice
Choose age and gender carefully. Regular creators cannot change these two fields after creation.

2. Test the experience
Use the private character as an AI companion before publishing it:
- Try normal chat and roleplay
- Check whether its speech matches its personality
- Test voice messages and live calls
- Make sure its avatar and world match the written profile
- Check that its greeting gives users a clear way to begin
- Correct unclear, conflicting, or unfinished profile details
Private testing helps you see the experience from a user's point of view. Your private chat history and Global Memory are not shared with future users.
3. Check that it is ready for the Arena
Before submitting, confirm that:
- The character has a clear and consistent identity
- Its profile is suitable for a public audience
- Its main avatar, world image, and active voice are saved
- You created the material or have the necessary rights to use it
- The character follows ImagiPortal's public content rules
- Your account is verified and in good standing
An active saved voice is required. If the character does not have one, ImagiPortal directs you to Voice Studio before submission.
4. Submit the character for review
- Open My Characters.
- Select the private character you created.
- Open Publishing and Marketplace.
- In Publishing, choose Submit for Review.
- Decide whether to request optional IP registration.
- Confirm the submission.
The character remains private while the review is pending. Editing and visual regeneration are temporarily locked so that the submitted version does not change during review.
5. Follow the review result
The Publishing area shows the current status:

|---|---|
| Not Submitted | The character has not been sent for review |
| Pending | The submitted character is waiting for review |
| Approved | The character passed review and is public in the Arena |
| Rejected | The character needs changes before it can be published |
| Unpublished | An approved character was later removed from the Arena |
If the character is rejected, read the review feedback, update the private character, and submit it again.
After approval
An approved character becomes public and discoverable in the Arena. Other users can interact with it, and eligible paid activity can begin generating royalties.
The public character is read-only for its creator. To make changes, unpublish it first. Unpublishing returns it to private use and removes any active marketplace listing. You can edit it and submit it for review again later.
