Follow the first steps from account creation to meeting and speaking with your first AI companion.

This section guides you through your first experience on ImagiPortal. You will set up your account, personalize the Arena, find a public AI companion, and begin your first conversation.
You do not need to create an AI character before you begin. We recommend meeting an existing public companion first so you can see how chat, memory, voice, and live calls work.
Your first steps
- Create your account. Sign up and complete the short onboarding tour.
- Personalize the Arena. Choose a world and optional interests to improve your recommendations.
- Learn the main areas. Find the Arena, Chats, Create, My Characters, and Profile.
- Choose a public companion. Open a profile and learn who the companion is.
- Start a conversation. Choose Chat or Roleplay and decide whether to use Global Memory.
- Try voice when you are ready. Send a voice message or begin a live voice or video call.

Before you begin
ImagiPortal is for users aged 18 and over. AI companions are artificial intelligence, not people. Do not share passwords, payment information, or other sensitive personal information in a conversation.
Trial and feature access
New users normally receive a three-day onboarding trial. Eligible users who join through a referral receive the referral welcome package instead. The trial timer starts when you first use an eligible premium feature, not when you create the account.
During the trial, you can explore premium tools such as voice, images, and calls. After it ends, some features require an active subscription or PORTI, ImagiPortal's platform credit. Available features and costs are shown before a paid action.
