First Chat and Call

Run a first text or live session to confirm the persona is usable end to end.

Once the persona exists, the next milestone is a stable interactive session.

Text chat check

  • Start a new chat with the persona.
  • Send a short prompt that tests identity and memory.
  • Confirm the conversation history updates and renders cleanly.

Voice or call check

  • Grant microphone permissions only on the intended browser.
  • Start a call session and verify device selection before speaking.
  • Confirm that call controls, status, and exit behavior work as expected.

If the session fails

Use the troubleshooting section before rewriting the persona. Most first-session failures come from access, device, or generation-state issues rather than character design.
