ImagiPortal's media tools bring AI companions and AI characters to life through images, selfies, clothing, generated video, voice, and live voice or video calls.
You can generate media while chatting with a companion or open the Generator for more creative control. Generated images and videos are saved in galleries, where you can view and manage them.
Start with media in a conversation
Conversation media is the easiest way to turn a companion's response into an image, spoken message, or video. The character, conversation, and selected message provide the starting context.
Open Tools under a companion's message to see the available actions:

| Generate video clip | Animates an image into a short video clip with scene sound |
Start with Generate image when you want to see the moment described in a message. After the image is ready, you can use it as the visual starting point for a video.
Generate video scene brings a spoken response to life. It needs both an image and audio. If either one is missing, ImagiPortal helps you create it first.
Generate video clip creates movement and matching scene sound from an image. It does not use the spoken message or synchronize speech with the character's mouth.
Conversation media stays connected to the message that inspired it and is also available through the character's Media Gallery.
Use the Generator for more control
Open the Generator when you want to start with your own idea instead of a specific message. It lets you choose a workflow, select a character, write your own prompt, and manage previous results.
The Generator has separate Image and Video areas.
Choose a Generator image workflow
The Generator's Image area offers four workflows:

Image
Create a general image from a written description. This workflow does not require an AI character.
Character Image
Choose one of My Characters or a Public Character, then place that character in a new scene. The character's identity and visual information help guide the result.
Selfie
Upload or take a clear photo of yourself, choose an AI companion, and generate an image of you together.
Try-On
Upload your photo and open the Dressing Room to see how selected clothing may look on you.
Create a video in the Generator
Open the Video area to animate an image. You can select a character and one of their existing images, move directly from a generated image to video, or upload an image of your own.
Your prompt describes the movement, action, or scene you want to create. A clear and stable starting image usually produces a more consistent video.
Find your generated media
ImagiPortal organizes generated images and videos into galleries. Depending on the workflow, media may be grouped by character or stored in collections for general images, selfies, and saved try-ons.
From a gallery, available actions can include:
- View the result at a larger size
- Download or share it
- Use an image as the starting point for a video
- Regenerate or delete media
Talk in a live voice or video call
A live call is different from generated media. Choose a voice-only conversation or add the companion's talking avatar with a video call. Both modes support microphone controls and live transcription. Video calls also let you optionally share your camera.

Media and character identity
Character-based media uses information from the AI character, including its profile, avatar, appearance, visual style, and world. Keeping these details consistent helps generated media look like the same character across different scenes.
General images and personal-photo workflows do not change an AI character's main avatar or profile unless the app clearly offers an option to apply the result.
Personal photos and safety checks
Selfie, Try-On, and uploaded-image workflows may require a personal photo. Use a clear image that you have the right to upload. ImagiPortal checks uploaded images and prompts before generation.

Access and pricing
Some media tools are paid features for regular users and are included with an active subscription. The app shows the current access requirement before generation.
