ImagiPortal is a living AI companion platform. You can discover or create digital companions with their own appearance, personality, voice, memory, and world.

ImagiPortal is not limited to text chat. It brings chat, voice, images, video, and live calls together in one place. You can meet public companions made by the community, build a private companion for yourself, or create an original AI character for others to discover.

The central idea: presence

ImagiPortal is built around a simple idea: an AI companion should feel present and familiar, not like a series of unrelated replies.

That sense of presence comes from several parts working together:

• Identity gives the companion a clear personality, role, appearance, and way of speaking.
• Memory helps conversations and stories continue instead of starting from zero each time.
• Voice lets the companion speak through voice messages and live conversations.

What is an AI companion?

An AI companion is made for conversations and experiences that continue over time. It can have its own look, personality, backstory, voice, way of speaking, and world. You might use a companion as a friend, a roleplay partner, a fictional character, a creative partner, a guide, or an assistant.

An AI companion is still artificial intelligence, not a human being. Its replies, images, voices, and videos are created by AI. ImagiPortal aims to make these interactions more expressive, personal, and connected over time.

From an AI character to an AI companion

In ImagiPortal, AI character is most useful when talking about something you create and shape. You define the character's appearance, personality, backstory, voice, visual style, and world.

AI companion describes the experience you have after you begin interacting with that character. Through memory, conversation, media, and live calls, the character becomes a companion you can return to.

Put simply: you create an AI character and bring it to life as an AI companion.

What you can do on ImagiPortal

Discover

Explore the Arena to find public AI companions created by the ImagiPortal community. Each profile introduces the companion's personality, story, and appearance before you begin a conversation.

Create

Build an original AI character by choosing its appearance, personality, backstory, voice, location or world, and visual style. You can keep your creation private or prepare it for others to discover.

Connect

Choose how you want to interact:

• Chat through text
• Exchange voice messages
• Start live voice or video calls
• Continue stories and relationships with memory
• Generate images, scenes, selfies, and videos
• Explore group conversations with multiple companions where available

Personalize

Change and improve a companion over time. You can update its profile, appearance, voice, world, and other creative details as your idea develops. Memory controls let you continue from earlier conversations or start fresh with a separate conversation or story.

Create together

ImagiPortal is also a creative space. A companion can take part in storytelling, roleplay, character development, image creation, and larger projects. Its identity can stay connected across chat, images, video, and calls. You do not need to rebuild the same character for every new activity.

Memory and continuity

Memory is one of the foundations of the companion experience.

During a conversation, chat memory helps the companion follow what is happening. Global Memory can keep useful details for future conversations, such as your preferences and important parts of an ongoing story. This means you do not need to repeat the same information each time.

You control whether you want this memory. You can turn off Global Memory when you want a fresh start. Learn more in Chat and Memory.

A platform for users and creators

ImagiPortal is both a place to connect with AI companions and a platform for people who create them.

Creators can build original AI characters and submit them for publication. Approved characters can appear in the Arena, where other users can discover and interact with them. Creators can see how their characters are performing and earn royalties from eligible interactions.

Creators can also request intellectual property (IP) registration for eligible original characters. Registration provides a public ownership record and digital proof of ownership, called an ownership NFT, on the DATA Network.

Private creation does not require publication. You decide whether a character remains part of your personal experience or is prepared for a public audience.

Privacy and control

Conversations with an AI companion can be personal, so privacy is an important part of ImagiPortal. ImagiPortal does not show ads, sell your data, or use third-party tracking. Your account settings give you control over features such as memory.
