Understand what is private, what can become public, which information ImagiPortal uses, and the controls available to you.

Conversations with an AI companion can feel personal. ImagiPortal therefore gives you practical controls over memory, content visibility, device permissions, and your account.
This documentation explains those controls in simple language. The formal Privacy Policy is the source of truth for legal details such as data collection, processing, sharing, retention, international transfers, and your legal rights.
Private interactions and public content
Your chat history and Global Memory are not shown to a character's creator or to other users. Each user has a separate relationship and memory with an AI companion.
Some information becomes public when you choose a public workflow. For example:
- A published AI character appears in the Arena
- Its public profile can show its creator, identity, avatar, and world
- A marketplace listing shows sale information
- Completed IP registration creates a permanent public record on the DATA Network
Always review what will become public before publishing, listing, or registering character IP.
Your main controls
Depending on the feature and device, you can:
- Start a chat without Global Memory
- View and edit the Global Memory shared with a character
- Delete chats, generated media, or characters where a delete control is available
- Keep characters private or submit them for public review
- Turn your microphone or camera on and off
- Remove ImagiPortal permissions in your browser or device settings
- Delete your sign-in account
- Contact ImagiPortal to exercise applicable data rights

Make thoughtful choices
Do not submit information you do not want processed as part of the service. Avoid sharing passwords, payment card details, government identification, or another person's private information in a chat or prompt.
If you use a shared device, sign out when you finish and review the browser's microphone and camera permissions.
