Privacy Controls and Account Deletion

Manage Global Memory, chats, media, permissions, account access, and formal personal-data requests.

Updated September 3, 2026

ImagiPortal provides controls for individual features as well as a way to delete your sign-in account. These actions have different effects.

Manage Global Memory

You can start a new chat without Global Memory or open the character's memory manager to review and edit saved memory.

Turning memory off for one chat does not delete existing Global Memory. Editing memory does not delete the original messages in earlier chat histories.

Delete chats and media

Where available, use Delete Chat to remove a conversation from your chat history. Generated-image and chat-gallery surfaces can also provide controls to delete individual media items.

The app asks for confirmation before permanent product-level deletion. Review the item carefully because deleted content may not be recoverable through the interface.

Deleting an item in the app is not the same as requesting deletion of all related personal data. Some backup, payment, security, or legally required records may remain for the periods explained in the Privacy Policy.

Delete a character

A character owner can use Delete Character from the character-management area. This is different from unpublishing:

  • Unpublishing returns a public character to private use
  • Deleting permanently removes the character from the active account workflow

If the character has a completed DATA Network IP record, deleting or unpublishing it does not erase that permanent public record.

Manage microphone and camera permissions

Use the in-call controls to mute your microphone or stop camera sharing. To remove access completely, open your browser or device privacy settings and remove the permission for ImagiPortal.

The browser or device controls the permission prompt. ImagiPortal cannot turn a denied permission back on for you.

Delete your sign-in account

On mobile:

  1. Open Profile.
  2. Scroll to Danger Zone.
  3. Select Delete Account.
  4. Read the confirmation and select Delete Account again.

This action is permanent for the sign-in identity. You are signed out and cannot recover that same authentication account through the app.

Deleting the application from your device does not delete your account.

Account deletion and stored data

Deleting your account removes your sign-in access and begins the account-deletion process. Some backup, payment, security, or legally required records may remain for the periods explained in the Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy defines retention periods and legal exceptions. If you also want to exercise a formal right to erasure or another data right, submit a privacy request.

Request access, correction, export, or deletion

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

  • Ask what personal information is held about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Request a portable copy of applicable data
  • Request restriction or objection to certain processing
  • Request deletion, subject to legal exceptions
  • Make a complaint to the relevant privacy authority

Send privacy and data-rights requests to [email protected]. GDPR-related questions can also be sent to [email protected].

The request may need enough information to identify your account, explain the request, and verify that you are the account holder. The formal Privacy Policy contains the current process, response periods, and jurisdiction-specific rights.
