Account and Personal Safety

Protect your account, personal information, uploaded media, device permissions, and public creator identity.

Updated July 25, 2026

Simple choices can protect your account and reduce accidental sharing of private information.

Protect your account

  • Keep your sign-in credentials private
  • Do not share passwords, verification codes, authentication links, or recovery information
  • Use only devices and networks you trust
  • Sign out when you finish using a shared device
  • Contact Support if you suspect unauthorized access
  • Do not create additional accounts to avoid a restriction or enforcement action

ImagiPortal Support will not ask you to send your password or full payment-card information.

Be careful in chats and prompts

Do not place passwords, access codes, full payment details, identification documents, home addresses, or other sensitive information in a chat or generation prompt.

Before sharing information about another person, make sure you have their permission. Public information can still be sensitive when combined with private details.

Check photos before uploading

Look beyond the main subject of a photo. The background can reveal:

  • Documents, badges, or computer screens
  • Home or work addresses
  • Vehicle registration information
  • Other people who did not agree to be included
  • Private rooms, messages, or belongings

Crop or replace the image before uploading if it contains anything you do not want processed as part of the requested feature.

Microphone and camera safety

Only grant microphone or camera permission on a device you trust. During a video call, your own camera is optional and starts off.

Use the call controls to mute the microphone or turn off the camera. You can remove permission completely from your browser or device settings after the session.

Use End call before closing the page so the live connection ends correctly.

Public creator information

Before publishing an AI character, review its text and media for private information. A public character can show its creator, profile, avatar, world, tags, and other public details.

Marketplace listings and completed DATA Network IP registration make additional information public. A completed IP record is permanent and is not removed by unpublishing the character.

Read Visibility and Public Information for the full explanation.

If something feels unsafe

Stop the interaction, leave the page, and remove device permissions if needed. Save only the information needed to explain the issue, then contact ImagiPortal through Reporting and Contacting Support.
