When a generation fails, isolate whether the cause is input quality, product state, access, or an external provider dependency.

Triage order

  1. Re-check the active account and feature access.
  2. Re-check the prompt or reference asset quality.
  3. Retry once with minimal changes.
  4. Move to a narrower workflow if the larger flow is unstable.

Good bug report inputs

  • Persona used
  • Feature used
  • Prompt or action attempted
  • Approximate time of failure
  • Whether the issue reproduces
